This is a very good video on youtube - you could also search against 'the most terrifying video you'll ever see'. However, it's not to terrify you, it simply puts a logical argument in favour of taking action.
I qualified and worked as a lawyer for many years, including as a law lecturer. I have become active on the issue of global warming over time - and heartily regret all the years when I was part of the problem, although I probably still am, as if you want to stay a part of this society, then inevitably you have to compromise.
I now look after my kids and do voluntary work - I help to run Change4Chalfont and I have just done the training to become a school speaker for Oxfam.
There are 2 things in my life which are my drivers - the desire to make a difference and not to have had a passive or detrimental effect on the planet whilst I am here, and the commitment to and enjoyment of my family.
